Prairie resident and author Rick Wehler has released a second book of banter, witty thoughts and stories from Wisconsin and Minnesota that describe everyday life just south of Lake Superior.
The book, “South of Superior—More Minne-Sconsin Stories”, follows Wehler’s first publication, “North of Normal: Minne-Sconsin Stories”, and has similar subject matter with a few extra stories, Wehler said. Most of the stories are about fishing, camping or how he met his wife Cora. Some are about old age, while others try and find humor in serious situations like surgeries.
