North of Normal: Minne-Sconsin Stories

Thanks to what his wife, Cora “the Dish,” has labeled “a weird sense of humor,” Rick Wehler has been able to laugh at the challenges of life in Minne-Sconsin, most notably jobs, hobbies, humdrum happenings, health headaches, foibles, family, friends, fond memories, doctors and nurses, and psychotic states of mind induced by the consumption of copious quantities of complex sugars. It’s his hope that each reader will be able to identify with one of the short stories—a paragraph, a sentence, or a character—and laugh along with him.
