This is Book Two telling of the author’s reckless journey through many years of drug addiction, his grueling struggle into sobriety, and the search for sanity and a speck of clarity. It wasn’t long after his struggles with sobriety had subsided that he suffered a devastating tragedy. It was just when he thought his disease was in God’s hands and he was on the road to recovery and stability, his life crashed and burned in a way he could never have imagined.

The book is based on a true story written by the author’s nine-year-old son, whose life revealed the identity of a spirit that visited him one cool and windy day in 1992. And it was the story he wrote that foretold his fate, as well as that of everyone his path in life crossed.

Son Tony was subtly guided by a spirit that would eventually hijack his life and devour his soul in the form of severe paranoid schizophrenia. And it was during this traumatic period he and the author found themselves entrenched in a struggle with the inadequacies of a failed behavioral health system.

It was after twenty-plus years of success in sobriety that the author unexpectedly found that the sins of his past had never truly been forgiven. This book tells the tale of who he was, what he’s become, and how his life’s decisions affected everyone and everything his life has touched.
