Edith Cavell, a British nurse, was always interested in caring for others. When she was asked to set up the very first nurses training school in Belgium, she jumped at the chance.

But when the First World War broke out in 1914, Edith had to make a decision. Should she help the Belgian Underground rescue Allied soldiers from the brutal German army, or follow the law? Edith was smart and determined with an unbreakable spirit, but were these enough to save others and herself?
